Discussion of diabetes management in day to day life

Results that can not be true, but must be believed.

I have been introduced to a product called "Pycnogenol". Okay so you may of
heard about it you may not have. There are many people using this product for
their conditions of diabetes.

Pycnogenol is a food additive product. It is a free radical scavenger. It is
more powerful than Vitamin C and Vitamin E. This product has been used in
Europe for many many years and has found to have no adverse side effects.

One gentleman that is using this product for his diabetic condition ate a
whole block of chocolate to prove to himself and others that this product
really works.

    Good summary!

    Don’t be silly!

This product is commonly available in health food stores
and has purported benefits such as reversing capillary damage
    (retinopathy, foot problems, …).

I have been taking it for a few months now and have found no
significant changes.  Like most herbal remedies, the benefits
are quite subtle.  None the less, from the research I have done,
I have decided to continue to take this product.

Look in your health food store.  I pay about $Cdn23 for 60 5mg
capsules.  It is a pine bark extract and I wonder if a tea
made from pine bark would do?  It is a specific pine;  Indians
have used pine bark as a medicine.  There are some differences
in the preparation.  Some also combine the product with other
    products.

As always, eat healthy (veggie, veggie, veggie), exercise, keep
tight control, and, what the heck, eat some "food supplements".

    Cheers, from frigid Calgary (-30!)

It probably would have a few of the OPC’s left intact, but heat tends to
destroy OPC activity. The richest food source for OPC’s is RED wine. The
best, and only supplement containing OPC-85 developed and endorser by
Masquelier as an anti oxident is the Life Plus Proanthanols products in
    50mg and 100mg tablets.
