It tastes exactly like sugar, it is measured exactly like sugar (if a recipe
calls for one cup sugar, then use one cup of splenda). It is heat stable
and can be used for baking.

According to the Canadian Diabetes Association’s "Good Health Eating Guide",
"Studies underway with sucralose (brand name: SPLENDA) and people
with diabetes to date have shown that this product does not affect blood
sugar levels."
I have used it in cooking/baking and it’s great! It doesn’t break down and
keeps its terrific taste. The content of the packets of Splenda looks
exactly like sugar. It has a much better taste than Equal, and is quickly
becoming the favourite amongst diabetics and dieters alike in Canada!
