You know, we have been reading your tripe for too long. We shouldn’t have to
filter, or other things. You haven’t had a death notice read to you, as some of
us have, and you are spending your time criticizing others on here, at the
expense of the diabetic. Why don’t you take your threads and vanish.
Diabetics, as well as other ill people would certainly enjoy it.

Dave,
It is obvious to all of us that there is bad blood between you and Mack,
but is it really necessary for you to project it all over the place like
this? I spend time in here looking for good solid advice for how to
handle my diabetes, and have seen the occasional good post from both you
-and- Mack.
I don’t know that it would make any difference here, but please consider
that these posts reflect worse on you than they do on Mack. I know that
you have positive things to add to the board here, but I can’t help but
cringe when I see this blatant negativity. It’s to the point where
whenever I see your name in the header I wonder whether it’s a useful
post or just more flame.
If there is something specific in a post that you feel is incorrect,
then it makes perfect sense to post a refuting position. That is what
makes this group what it is: the free exchange of advice and information.
Please, Dave, can’t you just let the negativity go?
Peace

I find it interesting that Mack hasn’t bothered with this thread.
So it’s just Dave shadow-boxing the real twit in the mirror.
I wonder how long before he plonks himself. Soon I hope,

I think it’s a shame that you have let yourself fall victim to this kind
of childishness, Dave. I used to think that you were one of the better
posters in this group. I especially liked your having shared your
experiences with your pump. As a pumper myself, I value that kind of
anecdotal information.
But I don’t think I can read your posts anymore without thinking about
this kind of negativity. I have a hard enough time dealing with the crap
around me in real life and I really would rather not have to deal with
it in here. I have no trouble putting your typical spammer or crackpot
in my killfile, but I would have hoped to have been able to avoid
putting you there.
Of course, your behavior is entirely up to you. If you want to portray
yourself in this light among your peers in this group, that is your
right. But I would hope that someday you’d find that broadcasting such
negativity is needless and ultimately fruitless.
Peace

I don’t recall calling you names. I have diabetes, among other things, and
since this is a diabetic forum, I really should NOT have to ignore droppings
from the likes of you. After all, I didn’t spend money on a computer, and money
for the use of the Internet, to turn off my computer, or ignore the likes of
you. You impress me as one who pretends he is one of us, but is in reality,
just another sophomore getting his jollies.
Grateful to be back.

I hope someday you learn to ignore threads that rile you
up…instead of adding nothing of value and wasting your time.

Calling you a "twit" was mild and appropriate. You must not
get around usenet much if you think that is a big deal.
Secondly, writing things like "tripe" was inflammatory; you
got less than what you deserve in my response, so quit
whining like a little girl. sheesh!

Where d’you think "Bite me" came from?

i’ll grant you that it might have come from "Becker"; BUT
who the heck IS Becker? Is that a show that Ted Dansen was
on? I never saw it.

It was a popular saying when I was a kid, a long time ago, and long

I never saw it either, but I DID see the ads. Yeah, it’s Ted Dansen and it
looked so poor when compared to Cheers, I gave it a miss.
