Yes how much fat? This issue has gone beyond reason
and it is used to make money. What other components are harmful or
as least untested?. I guess if you die early from heart trouble the
diabetes will be secondary. It is no accident we see some things
here 50 times a day. A few of these things need more scrutiny.

One serving of the Bryer’s has 6 gr Sugar Alcohol.
I have no bad effects from it.
Making a pig of your self and eating 25 gr in one meal may very well cause the side effects you
mentioned.

No! I only eat one maybe two the same time, but even one can do the job. My
wife perfactly healty, slim and she complained about it too.
So, I stoped buying any thing that has Sugar alcohol in it.
I read on the net about sugar alcohol, warning cause blouting. First it was
used in sugarless chewing gum, but now every sugarless food has it. Even the
one advertised, contain Splenda, also has sugar alcohol, half and half.
Can’t take this stuff.

A couple of times I have been severely constipated and had the most
painful bowel movements. I think that is where the sugar alcohols would
do me some good to "get things" moving.

PJ,
Eating 6 grams of Lacitol in one carefully measured serving of Turkey Hill
Carb IQ ice cream cleaned me out better than a handful of Ex-lax. Twice. I
tried it again just to be sure it was the ice cream and not a random stomach
virus. It was the ice cream.
If you are sensitive to the sugar alcohols it doesn’t take a large serving
to cause problems.
In addition, some of the bulking agents they use (which are listed as fiber
on the label) also apparently can cause some of us stomach distress.
The new "low carb" foods full of these frankefood substances are doing more
to discredit low carb eating as a way of controlling both weight and blood
sugar than the most fervent vegetarian activist smear campaign could
achieve. <Sigh>
